Rescuing ancient 2x4’s from Chicago dumpsters was what developed a passion for exposing inner beauty in discarded lumber.

“There’s something magical about discovering a truly beautiful piece of wood under 100 years of dust and grime. I’ve felt like a “diamond in the rough” at many points in my life, so helping the wood transform is very cathartic.”

In addition to working with reclaimed lumber, he also enjoys working with concrete, steel, glass, and other locally sourced materials.
